Most ironic bar: great ambiance, good food (so I hear), inviting atmosphere, BUT LOUD POUNDING MUSIC THEY NEVER TURN DOWN. Have read many comments from people who tried the place once, never went back BECAUSE OF THE LOUD POUNDING MUSIC. I'm in that camp. Hint: TURN THE MUSIC DOWN/OFF and watch business improve almost immediately...

Great burgers, as they keep it simple, very close to shack shack style. Lots of TVs for sports: if you hate football dont go on Football nights.Great big booths for game playing bring friends. Not an old persons bard, not for quiet conversations over a glass of Chardonnay. Quiet afternoon weekends bring the kids, at night get ready for sweet beers. Try the Brownstoner on tap: solid. Waitresses (especially the blond) is always very nice, very quick with food and never an attitude.Keep it up! Funsuckers not the place for you.

Texas-style double cheeseburgers are the main draw here and they are worth a subway ride to try. The fresh cut fries are similarly great. Drinks are focused on beers and bourbons. If you come to watch a game then come early as the space in front of the bar is sparse and the big booths in the back don't turn over once a game is playing.

We went on a weeknight to watch a game. The bar was busy but not packed. The staff, however, was so busy giving each other shots that, despite the fact that we were sitting right at the bar in their direct line of sight, we were consistently ignored. There were at least three people behind the bar but somehow they were always too busy talking and drinking among themselves to notice their lowly paying customers. We only ordered two food items, the chicken wings were very good but the bratwurst was terrible --first off it wasn't a bratwurst at all but a weird giant sausage stuffed with what I think was anise, making it taste like potpourri. Will we go back sure, the space was very nice, the wings were good and crowd was decent. Hopefully we just hit an off night.
