Great old school cocktail bar
By qnzfoodie on 10/18/2010
This is such a welcome addition to Queens. And all those who don't like it for any reason, please tell me of one place that produces great cocktails in Queens or even in NY for this price point and quality. Plus the bartenders (especiall abraham and zach) are great and personable and make the experience fun.

Prices going up
By Lectra83 on 8/21/2009
The price has been raised from $9 to $10, not outrageous and still cheaper then a Manhattan drink, but in the double digits none the less. Nothing lasts forever...

Amazing
By Slimongi on 8/17/2009
It's hard to find a place in NYC where class and style meet and blend so effortlessly. Born and raised in NYC where I've been to many many bars, this place (along with some of other NYC's speakeasy's) really personifies great bar with a personal touch to everything. The staff make you feel like you're home and treat you like a friend who's visiting. The drinks are quality made and you can tell they really put thought into it from the ingredients they use to the presentation. Great place. Will go back very soon.

Finally, a place for the locals
By seymour618 on 7/12/2009
Don't call this place all style, no substance--the professional and attentive service elevates the concept-driven cocktail bar to a cozy home away from home. The live musicians are as talented as the mixologist on-duty. My hope is that Dutch Kills lives on long after it loses that new varnish smell.
