This place was FABULOUS! The decor was amazing, the service was fantastic and the entertainment was superb. And to add to it- the food was delicious. My then-boyfriend (now husband!) went there on a date and had the most amazing time. Even though we didn't dance- we sat at on the second floor balcony which overlooks the dancefloor and feasted our eyes. We didn't know where to look- at the dancefloor, the bellydancer (who by the way was really arabic and not someone who was trying to wing it), the professional exotic dancers by the DJ (on a balcony across from the second floor), or the DJ himself.... this place was truly amazing!!

Decor: simple & open feel; but NO HEAT so dress warm, tables under open staircase not the best place to eat dinner with people treking up & down stairs. Service: ABYSMAL, DISORGANIZED & RUDE; they were more interested in keeping all the candles lit than taking our order or keeping our water glass filled, took over 1/2 hour plus between each course and when the food finally came out they didnt seem to know which table to bring it to, gave us the wrong check - check your bill!!! Food: not worth it.

Service is the worst ever in the city. It takes 45min+ for anything to come out, then watch the service walk around in circles because they don't know where to bring the food, then ask 2 to 3 different people where, then walk more circles, then someone grabs him and walks him to the correct table....that only took about 75min from ordering to getting the cold food. And the food? It SUCKS! There is 20% gratuity added to your bill (we were a party of 2, not 8) for the abysmal service (are you kidding me?). For a $100 dinner (so not worth it) how about a 12cent tip. Hey EarthNYC, go F yourself........your welcome.

Earth is a wannabe restaurant trying too hard to fit into the upscale bracket. The restaurant, its management was nothing short of poor. The couple of employees I interacted with were chaste, unhelpful and didn't care. The food .... you'd rather get cart food. It was pathetic. Will never go to this place even if its free. Go at your own risk.

This restaurant tries too hard to be cool and compete with the well established PARK next door. The velvet rope in the evening doesn't reveal how empty the restaurant/bar is inside. The beautifully decorated restaurant with candlelit walls and bronze buddha at the entrance does not reflect the SALTY food and poor service! Every dish my friends ordered had an underlying good but SALTY flavor. Were the chef's tastebuds numb?!!! What was especially offputting was the horrible wait staff - our waiter was nowhere in sight, plates piled up on our tables without being collected, water glasses were not filled and when our waiter finally came, he was RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. The ambience at Earth would have been perfect for a date or even a nice evening out with friends, but the food and service were so poor that I would never go back to this restaurant ever again!!!
