I went to the 11pm show on a Saturday night. All but one of the comedians were seriously UNfunny -- largely because if they weren't joking about sexual violence towards women, they were being sexist or homophobic. I really wasn't expecting to hear a comedian in an East Village bar joke about how his career could be ruined if anyone saw him in the nearby 'gay' McDonalds (haha) Apart from that, their repertoires seemed to consist of making plain unfunny jokes about blow jobs. It was embarrassing and stupid. Sex can be funny, but after a while I certainly want to laugh about something else.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
