Excellent Bloody Mary:: Poor Service

So it's the morning after Halloween and obviously half of Williamsburg and Greenpoint have a hankering for comfort food and alcoholic beverages that are socially acceptable to drink with your first meal of the day...duh. So a forty-five minute wait at the corner of Driggs and Manhattan for their uncanny bloody mary wasn't anything more than slightly inconvinient, and only mind you because the hangover from both sweets and bacchanal overindulgence was kicking in. However... "Could you perhaps find the time to fit serving my table into your busy schedule of oh yeah... serving my table." Delicious food, wonderful drinks, terrible service. But at least our server had the decency not to add gratuity to our party of six. Although, being in the industry I find it hard to allow myself any excuse to tip less than 20%, so - you're welcome but you surely didn't deserve it buddy. Go with a smaller party...

What the hell happened?!

After hearing so much about this tiny hole-in-the-wall, i decided to take a couple of friends for brunch. We showed up to the largest gathering of hipsters sitting outside on a corner in the latest American Apparel and sunglasses with cups of coffee. i stepped in to let them know that i was going to be a party of three, and when i got in, i was given the once over by the waiter, and asked in a tacky fashion, "ummmm.........can i help you?" i told him we were three, and he said, "it's a wait......25 minutes" i said that was fine, turned out to be over an hour.......that is fine, it's NY. to make a long story short, the buscuit's and gravy were great! but the eggs benedict needed to be served with a straw, water city!!!!! the only thing going for this place was the decor. the attitude stinks, and the wait is unbelievable for such a horrible menu, and plate. my suggestion is stay far away!!!!! unless of course you find it impossible to leave the house with out your tube socks, and unwashed hair.
