If anyone needs to know what a cocktail is suppose to taste like, this is the place. Every bar that I have entered has no clue what a COCKTAIL is. The fresh juices and the combinations on the cocktail menu are far beyond any reachable point. I was recently there on Monday night and found out that their fall menu was in effect. The staff was so amazing they walked me through the entire menu. I started with the Hibiscus Swizzle and I was BLOWN AWAY. The creative minds that put that menu together deserve a Gold Star. It's about time that NEW YORK finally has a place where we can get a GREAT COCKTAIL. Thanks.

Great place for cocktails in a hip and refined environment. You can enjoy great cocktails made the way they should be made while listening to Ella Fitzgerald and the likes. Excellent.

The Bartenders take pride in their drinks and are courteous and friendly.The wait staff was knowledgeable and helpful in choosing from the many cocktails available. Great place for a date! Its like stepping back in time.

I had a very special Birthday party here in October 2011. It was perfect! Beautiful decor and ambiance, fantastic & unusual cocktails, private downstairs room - away from other bar noise, responsive staff, delicious catered food. I was looking for a beautiful space with a swanky vibe, and great drinks. I'm not a beer or wine drinker - but a tart cocktail with 4 or 5 ingredients - sign me up. I met with Josh the mgr. once to see the space and discuss details. Thereafter, he was always timely and responsive to my many questions. The private space is downstairs and feels very sexy & club like; banquet seating with matching low upholstered chairs (see website.) smoky mirrors, little tables. Josh suggested a "signature cocktail" that was champagne based with lemon, yellow chartreuse liquor, creme de cassis and sugar. Amazing. The food is catered from off site- which could raise a red flag but was delicous - curry chicken skewers, tuna tar tar, steak and horseradish, artisanal cheeses, shrimp cocktail, and the winner - pigs undercover. Tasty. All of it. (The bar does not serve food - only for private functions.) Josh and his serving staff kept us going with drinks, refills and passed hors d'ouerves. I would go back in a heartbeat and plan on having a drink there whenever I can. It is a perfect spot for an intimate party (40+ people) , or a romantic date. 10/10. It was a great evening!
