A skee-ball themed bar in Williamsburg is a match made in heaven. The bar is a great hangout for those in the semi-competitive league that takes place Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays, but it is also incredibly inviting for those who just want to come in for a beer and hang out (and maybe roll a couple games of skee-ball). The staff is very friendly and are quick to serve you up one of the wide variety of canned beer (better for the environment than bottles) or something on tap. Try the $4 Ginny Dog (a cream ale and a hotdog, the best deal you'll find in NYC) or the $6 10th Ball (a cream ale and a shot of the best well whiskey I have ever had).
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
