A truly unique experience

Gallow Green is a magical rooftop sanctuary and my new favorite bar. As part of the McKittrick Hotel and Sleep No More experience, imbibers are presented with an expertly curated cocktail and punch list by drink historian, David Wondrich. Sample the Gallow Green Punch, a tantalizing creation that goes down nicely; especially when taking in the sunset. To accompany the marvelous drinks, are the whimsical staff members in character. One of them, Annabel, is a resident of the McKittrick and the in house botanist. You will see her prancing around merrily with her water pail while striking up impromptu conversations. In fact, Annabel may pull you onto the dance floor in front of the house band for a quick tango, or on your way out, she may give you a plant called rue which she may ask you to take home and care for.

Does Not Honor Confirmed, Paid for Reservations!

Sadly, I never got to see this place. An acquaintance of mine told me about Gallow Green, and she mentioned it'd be a great place to celebrate a special occasion. My boyfriend and I both loved Sleep No More, so I figured this would be the perfect place to take him for his birthday. On July 25, I made a reservation for 10 p.m. on August 17. I booked it on the website, where there is a calendar that includes all the dates/times with open reservations. I received an email confirmation, and my credit card was charged the required $40 to make a reservation for two. On the afternoon of August 3 - nine days after making my reservation - I received a call from Gallow Green, informing that they could no longer honor my reservation. I spoke with the box office manager, Maya Baldwin (who was INCREDIBLY rude), and she said that a private party had just booked the entire space, so my reservation had been cancelled. My response was something to the effect of, "What?! How did this happen?" to which Maya replied haughtily, "We were able to accommodate your reservation before, and now we are not." I thought the purpose of a reservation was to RESERVE YOUR SPOT. I just want to reiterate - I had already paid for my reservation. I had already received a confirmation email and receipt. My credit card was charged. In essence, Gallow Green sold the product (the reservation) I had already purchased to someone else. I beg of you all, don't give this place your money.
