As a transgendered person I found Gingers to be for the most part friendly. I would and will go back.

This has got to be the worst place in Brooklyn! Catering to the gay community is an understatement. This bar caters ONLY TO THE GAY COMMUNITY. If a straight person dare set foot into this establishment, they are made to feel so uncomfortable with remarks and looks that you have no choice but to leave. For a nice change why not go to Roxberry in Bay Ridge where you can dance, drink and socialize with both gay and straight customers as well as karaoke and a great DJ !!

The bar is very warm and full of people from the park slope area who are very friendly and outgoing. They have a really nice and cozy back yard that would certainly get used by many during these summer days. The only think I would change about the place would be the lighting. Additional lighting would add so much more to the bar. Overall, a great place to spend your free time with some really great people. Highly recommended!
