The atmosphere is fantastic -- like the set of some sort of kung-fu film meets NYC club. Drinks are strong -- even though they are slightly pricey (on par with the rest of the Meatpacking District), they are very strong. Great DJ and always has a ton of people dancing. Overall, it is a solid place to go on any weekend and is good for any size group.

The Hiro establishment really disappoints. The place is more of a frat house gone wrong with the prices skyrocketing! How do they even survive in this economy?? They charge an outrageous entrance fee about $25 males and females plus the drinks are crazy expensive! Run the other way! Or you could just find another club. Any other club is better than this one!

This club has a nice open space so you can actually breath once inside! Nicely decorated and actually has dancers on ropes come down from the ceiling. Some what surprised at the crowd once inside - not such a selective doorman. They do play pretty good music so If you want to change it up, I would recommend Hiro - not to go too often but once in awhile. One negative is that you can't get any phone service once inside as it is in the basement... a little annoying but can be overlooked ;)
