Had a party last week organized by birthdaysandbottles.com and i was satisfied with how it all turned out. I'm not a big fan of hudson terrace but B&B had good deals on bottle service and I can remember more times than not enjoying myself at Hudson. B&B also assured me if anything were to go wrong like people not getting in, waiting for bottles, etc. everything would be taken care of since they had a representative on-site at all times. Fortunately, the night went surprisingly smoothly. I don't remember being impressed by the music selection and that night was not very different, but still serviceable. I mean, i don't expect top world djing at hudson. A big plus was that the crowd was surprisingly very good and the area wasn't congested as usual. This review is trying to find fault with hudson because im usually not impressed at run-of-the-mill rooftop spots in the city. But i have to admit, it was a smooth night, and actually turned out to be a really good time. I guess Hudson can be hit-or-miss, like most others places, but that night was definitely a hit.

Hudson Terrace is a great place to go, it is trendy, romantic, full of beautiful people, very classy. I love it and recommand it to you. The decoration is warm and very artistic, the staff is very well trained and polite. Plus, for the practical side, I parked my car at an Indoor parking in 670 W 43 street called "Parkright" 2 blocks away from the Hudson Terrace, so convenient. I paid only 20 dollars for the all night. Very reasonnable price for a parking in that area. Again, I really recommand you that trendy, beautiful place with the heartbreathing view and raffined food.

I came here for my 21st bday on Fri after a month of planning.I spent close to 1k.which I DID NOT plan on.I planned to buy1 bottle & was promised a VIP seat but instead got a corner table in the middle of a dance floor that was overcrowded & could barely seat just 1 person.Had to buy another $325 bottle +20% tax to get an actual half-decent seat...Many of my guests were denied entry because the door man was being a dick. My guests were not supposed to pay a cover (as mentioned by the host)if I was receiving bottle service.A bouncer even told one of my guests that he would only let him I'm if he paid him $60 +cover of $20.The population is predominantly caucasian, there's not a lot of diversity. They also said that music on a Friday would be "a mix of top 40, hip-hop, dance."They played 5 mins of not even up to date hip-hop and the rest of the night was a whole bunch of dance/techno shit I've NEVER heard on the radio before in my life. Bathrooms are small as hell. The side view is of a parking lot(rooftop is on 3rd flr)the only thing u don't have to worry about is lines.every1 seemed to be goin to the club across the st. Place completely blew mines to the point that no matter how many drinks I had I could not feel nice due 2 the stress of running downstairs every 5 mins cuz they weren't letting my ppl in. O yea & if u ever want bottle service here make sure u bring a credit card because they have 2 (preauthorize it) even if ur paying cash.something not previously mentioned

We just called the event planner about the 4th of July party, if we had to pay $100 for our 4 yr old as we would be a family of 4. The guy said 'unfortunately yes,' and hung up on me. No explanation, no 'but if she was 2 she would not have to pay- no information, not helpful at all. Have to say, we do not recommend this place for families!!

Went to Hudson Terrace and thought it totally sucked. The website makes this place look huge but it's not that big at all. They charge a hefty admission at the door and it would have a nice view if they actually let you see it. You're expected to stand in the pit-like dance floor with no view while they block the window area with the actual view unless you pay for bottle service at the tables there. So what did you pay for when you paid at the door? Nothing but the view of the brick walled building next to you and the sweat of the Jersey guy in the pit you're standing next to. Three drinks for $42 and there wasn't a drop of alcohol in any of them. The staff treats people like garbage, the bathroom looks like it belongs in a cheap dirty pub and the music is loud & sucky. I feel like this club is trying to bring back the pretentiousness of clubs from the 80's & 90's but people in 2010 aren't stupid enough to waste their money to be treated rudely & drink watered down drinks in a pit with no view. Maybe that's why this club mainly markets to meetup dot com groups because you'd only go there if you've never been there before or if you've never been to a club before.

I hope this place comes up with some good stuff for the winter. It was a usual hangout this summer with the rooftop and all. The lounge is pretty cool though, so I guess they can take the party indoors. Make the trip out there, it's worth it.

I'm a big fan of the 2 for 1 and it was kinda unexpected to get a deal at this swanky place. They are trying hard to get people out to 46th and 12th and I'm glad I made the trip. Definitely worth an evening out--good views, good music and out of the thick of midtown.

I really like that this bar doesn't take itself too seriously. I mean, they are doing a 70th Anniversary for the Wizard of Oz with dressed up people and dorky drinks. It's so refreshing to find a place like this! I went for a happy hour and liked the vibe, but I could do without the bump and grind. Just my style, I suppose Rooftop movies with drinks? Count me in

I read an article on rooftop bars in the city trying to get my fix before it's too late. Glad I choose this one first because it is off the beaten path and I wasn't fighting for bar space! rooftop? check happy hour specials? check Good times had? check
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
