Recently hosted a corporate event at Kush lounge. My clients and VP team were extremely happy. The food was amazing but the service and ease of creating the event was astonishing. Kush will definitely see more of me via for business and personal time! Grade A++

I planned my best friend's bachelorette party here last Saturday for a group of 15 girls and we had an awesome time. We didn't have a problem getting in or anyone else that came later who joined our party. Our group had a great time dancing the night away and enjoy our corner table that we reserved in advance - the required bottle service is a con, however, there aren't many lounges in NYC that you can reserve a table without a minimum. The management and staff at Kush were friendly and ensured our group had fun. I would go back there again for a celebration.

The vibe was ok, but the service was the worst I've ever had. I ordered a hookah for $30, but it didn't work. I reported the problem and they gave me another coal for it... it still didn't work. Then they told me we had been smoking it for too long, only it hadn't worked from the start. Then they charged me $10 for the extra coal they gave me (a pack of 12 coals cost $2 at any smoke shop). Turns out there was a hole in the hose-- "too bad for you", they said. The food was terrible too, and the music was all wrong -- The only thing they had right was the decor.

We absolutely loved this place when we went for my friend's bachelorette party!!! Everyone treated so well from the first phone call! They catered to our every need from the front door to the tables. The decor is out of this world, cozy and warm yet elegant at the same time. You feel as if you've been swept away to Morocco for the night. We had delicious drinks and appetizers early on and then stayed for the DJ dance party with the most awesome belly dance show. After 11pm our area was supposed to be bottle service only, but they have these pitchers of cocktails that are an awesome alternative. We loved this place!

The revived Kush is better than ever. The bar is beautifully decorated. The drinks are strong and the innovative 'specialty cocktails' are worth the extra change. Of course the music is still cutting edge and depending on the crowd and time can be perfect to chill to or move to. Kush blends the refinement of the city's best lounges with a casual authenticity that's hard to find.

I am a fair individual so I'll give this place a 3 based solely on the decor, music, and decent bartenders. I have to express my deepest distaste for the discourtesy shown to my friend who set out to meet the rest of our group inside, but was turned away at the door. One of the reasons given: "There are too many guys in there." Not only did I think that was a sexist thing to say, but also it was totally untrue. The place was NOT packed, and people were continuously being let in. This totally turned me off to the place. In fact, upon our exit, we saw a bunch of males being admitted inside. I would be wary of the selective admission policy this place employs.

I don't go out that much anymore, but this place is very chill. The music was great, with a DJ spinning reggae and guys rapping over it on the open mike...dub style. Very unique.
