my friends bag was stolen
By pomgirl on 6/6/2010
We were at la caverna and my friends clutch was stolen by a fat latina guy in an orange and white striped shirt and jean shorts it is a nice looking place but too crowded and they dont put any AC on for a basement bar it should be much cooler in there kind of a safety hazard do not set anything you own down in there unattended you wont see it again
great music and cheap drinks...
By gjl137 on 8/30/2009
Ten of us rolled deep into La Caverna on Friday evening. I'm always reluctant to stroll into the LES but things worked excellently. The beer selection albeit not excellent but reasonably priced. $5 for bottles. The music was urban pop and there was a mid-size dance party going on in the main section. You could easily chill at the bar or grab a lounge and smoke a huka. The bathroom line was long and crowded. Small bathrooms will cause this.
great place... fun atmospher
By JD858 on 8/16/2008
This place is a bar/lounge before 10pm and turns into a club afterward. I have been here 3 times and it's a lot of fun. The crowd is mixed and the DJ spins hip-hop, reggae, and 80s music. And to answer the previous reviewer's comment about the bathroom, it's straight in the back and it's wide open...we had no problem finding it. Drinks are reasonable...around $8. Everyone who I have brought to this place has liked it.
