I have come to the living room several times for different acts and I have always enjoyed my time every time I visit. I came to see The Americans play at the living room a few weeks ago, and again, this place still didn’t let me down. The music sounded great, the staffs were as welcoming as usual, I had a good night. Cheap drinks, nice staff and AWESOME live music every time. This place is my favorite spot in LES.

Me and my friends love karaoke, but it sucks on a Fri or Sat because you wait 2 hours to sing 1 song. But we came last Monday and it was so great! We were one of first 5 people to get on stage and sing so we got a two for one drink ticket! Super fun deal!

If you love music as much as I do, you gotta check out the Living Room. I don't know if its the acoustics of the room or if the engineer has some magical powers but the sound quality in this place is absolutely incredible. There is usually no cover charge to see the shows and they only request a small donation for the musician which I think is fair. And once the music's done they have a bar in the front so you can hang out til late. Really great place.

There are many bars all over New York City that are hit or miss for a good time. Sometimes these bars are randomly empty, some are too crowded, some have terrible music or some have drink prices that would make Donald Trump would cringe. Well, maybe not Donald Trump, but you understand my point. The Living Room is not one of these bars. The atmosphere is always upbeat, the people are always friendly and the live music that plays every night of the week is always great. There are always awesome drink specials and even when the bar is very full, there is a flat screen TV set up so the people at the back are able to see the performances. The Living Room is consistently the place to go for a good time.

It was truly a great place to spend the night in lower Manhattan. Great music and crowd, really.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
