The only bar in the region not catering to old men with scarred knuckles that totally and entirely lacks pretense. The staff is exceptionally friendly and--miraculously--attitude free, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the prices reasonable.

Don't get me wrong-- I have no beef with this place. It's a fine place to have a cocktail, but I really don't see it on any "top 5" list. The place needs a little focus; it seems like the owners were trying to go a few too many directions at once. That's my opinion, but I suggest you check it out yourself.

This is just a great bar -- great place to throw back drinks, alone, on a date, or with a big group of friends. Eclectic jukebox, comfortable 50s style booths, a pool table and even the wonderful Ms. Pac Man. Brooklyn-priced drinks, which is always nice. Perfect-sized crowds. Just an all-around great feel to the place. One of the best Brooklyn bars, and of course, Brooklyn bars are ten times better that Manhattan bars.
