i'm going to ignore all the negative reviews underneath and state that this club is awesome. the staff are friendly and accomodating, and service is great. the waitresses are extremely attentive. and the vibe? you wont find it anywhere else. the prices are fit for the atmosphere and the service given, so for those who say it's overpriced, i suggest you find a cheaper club to accomodate your spending limit then...this club is strictly for the grown and sexy who can afford to go all out

I went for my birthday because their promoter told me he would take care of me and my guests. The men were charged $30 to get in and they refused to let in my other guests unless they were buying a bottle. A bunch of us were already inside spending $15 a drink so we shouldn't have had to buy a bottle. If that were the case, they should have told us that before we spent so much on drinks. They didn't care that we left a different place for Manor and were treating us very poorly. We were told by a man who supposedly owned the place that my friends had to buy a bottle and that they didn't care what the promoter told me. The music was good but not worth the treatment we received. We can listen to hip hop and reggae anywhere else. I would not recommend this place to anyone. In fact, I would recommend that people stop going. I am so disgusted and in awe with the way I was treated on my birthday that I will never do business with the place ever again.

This place was absolutely terrible on New Years Eve. It was packed to the brim, insanely hot, and the bouncers seemed to enjoy injuring their patrons. The coat check at the end of the night could best be compared to a mosh pit at a concert. I feel terribly for the people who paid over $200 for VIP treatment. All they received was a place to sit, sweat, and a front row seat for downstairs fights.

we had a birthday party there on tuesday and all of us liked it... its quite small and there is no dance floor as is, but lots of ppl danced nevertheless finding space between tables. the dj was not bad at all, played a very pleasant mix of reggae, house and hip/hop/r&b with a lil bit of soca... should have been more soca, but whatever he mixed in was good enough i guess... young but not roudy crowd, pleasant bartender and surroundings, very nice decorations and plenty of place to sit if you tired makes it a pretty good place to go to on a tuesday night... would definately try it on a weekend as well

I went to Manor 2 times in the past month. Once on a Tuesday night and again on Friday night. Both nights were amazing. Tuesday was full of beautiful women, crowded...but not too crowded and excellent music. We were seated next to a table full of girls and the room had a ton of energy. Friday night was extremely crowded but the doorman recognized me from my last visit and ushered me past the crowd. This is unusual as I'm not one of those people. We were seated in the main room which was off the hook. The music was unbelieveable and the atmosphere was awesome. The only thing missing was the B&T crowd. I guess being over on 8th avenue is a benefit as they do not get that foot traffic. I'm am now a regular at this lounge.

nothing impressive. i guess yeah, if you had a good group of people to go with, it would be okay. but anyone can get in.

Enjoyed a night at Manor on a Friday night, but a few issues. The door policy was like any other, I was with 3 friends (so it was 4 guys total). We had to purchase 2 bottles, which is what we expected (and we weren't given too much grief at the door by the bouncers, etc. - that was appreciated). However, we were given lame seating once inside (as the other tables were reserved). Eventually we were moved to the main room. But I noticed the reserved tables, having 1 bottle for the entire table (for about 15 people) and they had the better seating. Manor seems to not know the customer or to appreciate those that are spending more (and will be back more - those who live in the neighborhood versus the B&T crowd). Music was good and crowd was good (girl:guy ratio, young and fun). Bathroom situation was horrendous. Manor is a nice escape from 27th Street, but needs to know the customer (for their benefit and ours).
