I went on a Saturday night with out-of-town friends. We had a reserved table upstairs. The crowd was anything but glamorous. If anything they were wannabe celebutards. The music was beyond anything digestible. You can get the same tunes from Hot 97 or Z100, to name a few. Absolutely nothing original from both DJ's; actually, nothing original about anyone there. The place is extremely overrated!!!! Over $1000 spent and I would have preferred to hit up the Shelter, pay $20 and truly dance my ass off to the music played by a "REAL" DJ Timmy Regisford, instead of what I subjected by poor ears to for 3 hours. Now I know for certain that if a dumb ass celebrity is loving the place - then it's definitely not worth the effort.

I was there for a happy hour event recently. There was a blond female bar tender who was overcharging everyone at the bar for drinks. I only heard a few people actually ask her about the overcharge. Not only that, but her drink pours were shameful. When I got my bill, I asked her about incorrect charges on my bill. She had been adding drinks to my bill and hoped I wouldn't notice (or say anything). She huffed, went back and fixed it, and came back with the corrections with a scowl. She was going to overcharge everyone there, and hope no one had the nerve to say anything. There is also a mandatory service charge added to each bill. The crowd wasn't that great either. Never again.

Wow, I can't believe this place is still rocking after 5 years. I used to go out all the time in NYC and Marquee was always my favorite nightclub. I guess I shouldn't have been all that surprised to find upon my return to NYC after a year abroad that Marquee is still the best nightclub in new york. The DJ's are still awesome, the crowd is still fun and the service is still over the top.

After all these years Marquee still has the premier doorman WASS! He has come around the last few years and really understands how to take care of guests of the guest and keep Marquee on top

Title says it all. If you have a table women will flock to you. MONEY MONEY MONEY.

Maybe I'm spoiled cause I'm friends with some promoters there, so I always get in without a problem and I always drink for free. That being said, I always have a blast at Marquee and I go pretty often. It's a very pretty club, 2 floors and the music is always pretty good. I don't think the crowd is pretentious at all, maybe it was worse a few years ago when Marquee was the "it" spot and starfuckers were stalking the place. It's still a hot club and one of the nicest ones in New York. And there's always a chance you might run into a celeb, you never know what will happen. Check it out!

I like going to marquee I go there almost once a week. The key to having a good time if meeting promoters, they are the ones that have their own tables and alot of girls around them. Once you make friends with a promoter they can get you into any club and you dont have to spend a single cent on having a good time. At marquee there are alot of beautiful people the best room in my opinion is the room in the back on the lower level. Go to marquee

was in Chelsea to check out Mansion (first time in that hood since 2006) and was dragged over to Marquee around 2am... Though the doorman was giving shit to most of the people still outside he let me and my 2 girlfriends right in. Place was packed and the crowd was surprisingly decent- lots of cute Euro guys spending $$ tourists and not a single guido in sight (well maybe a few...). Danced till 4am and didn't spend a dollar. sick night overall!

Word is that Marquee is not the place it used to be. Though it's undoubtely not the hippest club in NY anymore, Marquee is still a good spot. Huge space with 2 floors (though the dancefloor is actually not big) and another room, RnB commercial music, regularly some big nights that attract a nice crowd. And people seem to have fun.
