ive been going to this place for close to 7 years and it never disappoints me. The music is always nice and the bartenders always friendly. The people can sometimes be tweaked out but you almost expect that. The drag shows leave something to be desired but they are good enough for me. The upstairs with the piano and the singing is always something of a treat with the right people, lol.

This is not the trendiest place, nor does it boast the hottest men in town. However, it is the only dance club in the Village. Saturday is the busiest night by far. Friday attendance seems to suffering lately-- I don't know why. Monday you have Latino night. Tuesdays is disco, which is pretty popular. The drinks are reasonably priced and strong, especially when compared to any other gay bar in the City. It is clearly the most diverse gay bar in the City, both age-wise and ethnically. I've met people from all over the globe. Although it's mostly an older crowd, I've met plenty of guys in their 20s. For the most part there is attitude -- you can talk to anybody. The dance floor downstairs plays good music most of the time, and not so loud you get partially deaf with ringing in the ears. If you want to talk or chill, you can go upstairs for a while. The bartenders are excellent -- friendly and efficient.

we went to bar really by chance Saturday, March 5, 2011, we were starting to leave the next day in Geneva, Switzerland, and we wanted to discover the gay district of Manhattan, around Washington Square. despite the language barrier and their strong American accent, and our french accent, my friend Olivier and myself jean philippe were very kindly welcomed in this establishment, the guys we talked at the bar sipping our drink modestly priced (a California white wine and a frosty Margarita). Cypriot origin server was very nice and very sexy behind the bar. while working hard, he spoke me. As background music, a pianist and a few impromptu singers sang tunes of popular songs, unfortunately, we could apreciate the disco in the basement. It is a very warm place and I will return. jean-philippe geneva switzerland

Best of New York: Fun & Nightlife
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
