Nothing special

  • No, I would not go back!

As much as I'd like to, I can't find a whole lot of anything special about this place. It's nicely appointed, with the brick & the brass, but that's about all there is to it. The drink selections are your standard fare, the beers run the usual range of stouts, pilsners and ales, and the food was revamped recently to appeal to a more upscale (read, pricey) crowd. It's a convenient place to go if you work nearby, but hardly worth a trip out of your way. And if you are the type of person that regularly patronizes a place believing that you are appreciated as a customer, look elsewhere. Despite regularly dropping by for the last 3 years, I have yet to be offered a buyback or even so much as a hearty welcome when I arrive. If you bring your own crowd, you'll be fine as long as you don't mind the ignorant staff and bland food. If you're looking to mingle or eat something nice, don't bother.
