Swingin' bar, especially if you're TRYNA

Yes, I would go back!

The top things that I remember from this bar: old school tunes and a particularly grabby, young white collegiate bar crowd. Borderline bar domination by the ex-frat boy/sorositute set. A lot of hollerin' at goes down here. Scene of personal DFMO with unknown french boy. Taught him what moves I remembered from 5th grade cotillion. He educated in the art of the very public French Kiss. Well drinks ran about $6 I think, but who's counting.

good bar. creepy staff....

No, I would not go back!

not to burst bubles. always a ogod tme a t the bar. but despite being a great classic bar. the six clock shadow manager. kind of grating. im a girl just looking to have a good time. not have weird dude who "owns" or most likely manages creep on me. more an fyi than a complaint.

Yes, I would go back!

Whoa, just read the guy below's review which doesn't say anything about the service or the bar except that he doesn't like tattoos and skinny girls and has nothing better to do than to go online and make fun of the way the girl who was working looks. If he really owns eating and drinking establishments, I would hope that he doesn't go around berating the girls who work for him and speak about their bodies on public forums. Creepy. Sounds like an angry suburbanite who wanted more attention than he deserved. People like this are what has ruined NYC nightlife.

Really nice time--great happy hour

Yes, I would go back!

One of the best happy hours in the city--couldn't believe drinks were only $3. The modelesque and tattooed blonde bartender was really sweet and funny and she played our song requests from her ipod for hours. She even gave me and my friend cigarettes and drew us maps on where to get where we were going. I will definitely be back. Weekdays/nights seem to be the best nights for a fun time without the weekend chaos.

Yes, I would go back!

I went in search of the mural and found a great bar behind it. Inside it was very relaxed with a friendly bartender and friendly people sitting barside ,we stayed for a few hrs chatting ...the music was good and the vibe was great ......hated to leave.

Yes, I would go back!

Niagara is a really good bar, and they often have good music (and occasional art shows) downstairs. The downstairs gives you a little more breathing room, which is always nice. The drinks are sometimes a bit pricey. Good, but not great.

Go-Go Dancers AND an Umbrella in my drink?

Yes, I would go back!

Walking up to this place I did not expect what was inside at all. I thought I'd get a crowd of shagy haired hipsters or cap wearin' fratties, I was mistaken. Sure these types were in there but they weren't... overpowering. The crowd was actually pleasantly normal, even in the dark barren subterranean side room where I was sure I would run into something shady. The music down stairs was great to dance to even on the cramped dance floor and the music upstairs was real chill. To me this place had the best of both Manhattan bar scenes to offer, and I'm planning on going back very soon.

Downstairs is more fun!

The upstairs bar is nothing extra-ordinary, however the downstairs bar, Lei Lounge, is so much fun. Lei, which does open until midnight, is decorated in a tikki mortif and a more festive atmosphere. The D-J usually plays fun 80's music gets better as the night goes on. There was a female dancer who made people want to get on the dance floor when I went there. There are also little make-out nooks for hook-ups.
