it's fine for what it is, but honestly if you're willing to travel 10-15 feet in either direction you can find better ambiance and food. Mostly older men being sort of creepy to the one or two women who brave the scene.

The best restaurant quality New York Steak in town under 25 bucks, and a baked potatoes can't be beat. The homemade soups, different every day, at $3.95 a bowl are the best in town.

Was first back in NY in 2002 and stumbled across PD O'Hurleys. Great food, and a great atmosphere. Went again in 2003 ant it was just as good. clientele are extremely friendly and had a couple of guys explaining the ins and outs of american football while my girlfriend sat baffled beside me! Going in october and it will be among the first places i go to.

Best of New York: Fun & Nightlife
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
