Great selection of beers... bring your own friends though. You won't find any friendly faces here. It's worth it to go on a night with live music!

One thing is being a beer museum and another is being a very nice spot. Peculier is really nothing special other than... the beer menu. The music is ok, the service is decent and the atmosphere/crowd is forgettable. That said, if you want to try a new beer everyday, this is a good spot.

great beer, good food, decent prices, occasionally ditzy bar maids, odd smell, hipster jukebox. beerwise, my favorites include rogue shakespeare stout for 7.50 (I've been to places where they charge 15 bucks for it-in PA no less), and the beers in the "strong beer" section are very good too. get their cheese fries!!

This bar is unpretentious and fun. They have tons of beers, a well-informed staff, and some of the STRONGEST mixed drinks around. The one downfall is the bathroom: long lines for a creepy experience. But, I always have a good time. The prices for drafts are reasonable, and there are lots of fun people. It's a fun place.

Peculier Pub is the place for beer connoisseurs! Although the bar is dingy and dimly lit with neon beer signs, it has a character of its own. Their “beer menu” boasts hundreds of beers, ranging from domestic to hard to find foreign, from all over the world. It’s a great place to expand your beer palate. Peculier Pub also has decent pub food if you are hungry or craving the munchies. If you sit at a table, a bar maid will take your order and most of the times they are helpful on describing some of the beers on the “beer menu.” However it’s recommended to ask if you’re overwhelmed on what to order. Note that when you order beer from the bar maid, they automatically add 15% gratuity to your bill. Stay away from their cocktails that mix hard liquor with beer!!!!
