Extremely rude service and even worse food. The crab cakes were gross--mushy and tasteless. They tasted like they were made from tinned crab! The burgers are unextraordinary. The french fries and onion rings are comparable to those served at commercial fast-food restaurants. The service was extremely rude and unattentive. The service was unconcerned with customer satisfaction and was impolite and disrespectful. Truly a disappointment.

Very friendly bar with excellent food. Patric, the owner is very friendly and helpful. I can only recommend this restaurant very much. Every time i be in NYC i had to go to P.J. Horgan. Dirk ( Firefigther from Germany )

I grew up in LIC/Sunnyside. I've been coming to this restaurant for decades. They make the juiciest, tastiest, ridiculously cheap burgers on the planet. Try them with bacon & cheddar, medium rare. Cocktails are strong. Beer is cold. What's not to like?

Came here for lunch one day after reading several reviews praising the burgers. We live in Sunnyside and are constantly on the lookout for the best place to get the things we crave. PJ Horgans will be a go-to spot from now on. The burgers are very good but not pretentious in any way. If you're looking for an portobello burger with avocados and rosemary basil aioli this isn't your spot. The onion rings were the best I have had in a long time - not fast food type AT ALL. They were fat, perfectly battered and the crust was hot and crispy. I can't say that the bartender/server was overly friendly but she was efficient and attentive enough. In the end the thing that impressed us most of all about this place is that it was spotlessly clean I have honestly never seen a cleaner pub anywhere. The restrooms were sparkling and the floors were so clean you wouldn't even think twice about employing a 5 second rule. There's no reason to make a trip from another borough to come here but if you live in the neighborhood and are looking for good unpretentious grub, this is the place.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
