This place, was to us, near perfect. Got there around 19.00, it was packed, which is apparently normal until around 19.30/45. The food (typical pub grub) was perfectly cooked, and the music was great. The place was buzzing with a very friendly, eclectic crowd. The bar itself was just the right size, with fittings and furniture that were real and solid (not formica / plastic / show), and run by friendly and interested staff. The only thing which prevents a 10 score is that the Guinness seemed a little thin (maybe just that night?), otherwise perfect!

Yes, this place really is small, but the service is warm and friendly. The food is typical pub food, but something about the ambience here makes you feel so comfortable. No pretense, nice people.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
