Some friends and I went to Public House for dinner on a Thursday night. The bar and dining room were busy but we were seated right away. We each ordered different menu items and really enjoyed them but the dessert was the best part. We shared the Cookie Dough Smash - it was amazing. The server was very friendly, attentive and knowledgable. I'd definitely recommend this place to my friends. Also, being from Westchester, it is really convenient as it is only a block away from Grand Central.

I've come to Public House a few times for HH. The bar is long but narrow so it is always very uncomfortable and pushy to order a drink and move around. The drinks are over-priced and sometimes I wonder why I keep coming back to this bar. This bar gets crowded earlier in the evening and then thins out as the Grand Central commuters fade away to there families in Westchester/CT. It's convenient to Grand Central but you're better off coming to this place later in the evening.

1st and last time I will ever set foot in this bar full of conniving and deceitful dirtbags. Arranged for 3 hours open bar and the bartender was intentionally slow to serve drinks, no shots, drinks watered down, 1 drink at a time. Top it all off, they all of a sudden decided the open bar was over an hour and a half early. The people throwing the birthday both got thrown out along with others who got ripped off. Some woman manager with a stupid looking hat was the worst of all - when referred to her to discuss the cutoff, she began claiming that people had hit her (which was nowhere near true). Worst bar in NYC if you are planning a party GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Top it all off with a shitty crowd of goombas and blowouts.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
