This bar can be fun but it's mostly unpredictable. Some bartenders are nice but Alejandro is the worst. Lots of patrons sit near the entrance just to avoud being served by him. DJ Yayo is awesome as well as the waiters. The ebst thing is not to expect anything as there can be hsutlers lurkin around for a free drink. Overall the place is really tacky.

While a previous review focused on the bartender ALejandro who is always starving for attention, other bartenders are just great. Gustavito is a not only a charming bartender and very efficient but also pleasant with each customer. He is followed at 9pm on Tuesdays, Thursday, and Saturdays by Gio who happens to be just as nice and extremely fast getting your drinks. He makes the most amazing shots, and on top of that is so easy on the eye --- the hottest Dominican ever seen. People like me focus on the positive and ignore the negative. One more suggestion, sit by the bar area closer to the door because if you sit closer to the dance fllor, Alejandro serves that area and is closer to the restroom which is heavily trafficked.

Not having been to this bar in years, I recently stopped by again, and fell in love with this local Jackson Heights bar. The staff is friendly, both to the regulars and the ir-regulars. Stop by any night of the week, always entertaining. Say hi to Alejandro, Arturo, GIo and the rest of the hot staff

Spent an evening in this bar. The early evening bartender (Gustavito) was warm and very frriendly. However, his shift was about to end and he was followed by a clown-bartender name Alejandro who was the male equivalent of a telenovela acrtress starving for attention. Drinks are relatively cheap (and strong). If you are not seating by the bar, there are waiters making the rounds to get you a drink. That Saturday evening there was a show with a fiftysomething drag name Barbra Herr. She was entertaining at the beginning but had too much diva attitude, maybe that's why she was performing at Le Cabaret Friends. The bar got crowded after 11 pm and the clown-bartender got a hold a of the mike and kept making interruptions to the great music played by DJ Yayo (who looks like Bolivia President Evo Morales). The bartender did a good job annoying some of us who are not regulars who succumb to this guy's "charm". He was irritating, pot-bellied, and spoke terrible English. Maybe the bar is mor einteresting when Alejandro is off and other bartenders restrict themselves to their job.
