Very chic and elegant with a good crowd and music but leaves all the attitude outside...can't ask for much more out of a club!
This Place Is Discriminatory

I went here last night at the invitation of Social Life Magazine. The bouncer was rude, obnoxious, and verged on violent. He would not let me in, despite the fact I had my invitation and has RSVPed. He obviously was told by management not to let anyone over 40 into the place. I was dressed beautifully and look younger. I was told that unless someone "came up and got me" he would not let me in. Don't go here unless you want to be abused.

this is the place for you. The decor of RdV is very elegant and sophisticated. Add some alcohol, OK a lot of alcohol, and young, good looking people and you have a pretty standard Meatpacking establishment. I would say the clientele here is well above average and the prices are WELL ABOVE average. While beers will run you about $8 a pop the cocktails can hit you for $20 plus tip. RdV is mainly couches and chairs for individuals to do it up with bottle service. There is a small bar area which a lot of people surround themselves around. Good luck trying to get a drink. Your best bet is to just do it up and do bottle service. It's a fun place and the music was excellent. Great DJ. Come here if money is a non-issue...

It was my frist time going there, i didnt even know how to find it. there was a huge crowd of people there waiting to get. Everyone that was going in seemed to be 6'2 european models. luckly my friend knows some people and got us in, or else i feel like we could have never gotten in. Once in the Enviroment felt awesome, very calm fresh feeling. the music was great and so were the people, very friendly. the bathroom were very cute too. It's def my new favorite club.
Exclusivity at its Best

When you call the office to make a table reservation, you learn that "RdV is currently not open to the public." Luckily, my business partner is on the permanant guest-list for this private lounge. The design is timeless. One moment you feel as if you are lounging in a room in the early 20th century, yet you are on modern fabrics, staring at a painting frame straight out of the 16th century. The thought-process that went into the design of this space is meticulous and truly ahead of its time. The lighting in RdV is low and soft, creating a calm and peaceful ambiance. It is perfect for a romantic night out, or a night where you simply want to sit and talk to your friends over a few drinks. It is stylish, sexy and private. Alltogether, a great experience.
