My girlfriend had a bday party here on Saturday. The place was not very crowded when we got there, but within an hour was jam packed with more people streaming through the door. The music was one of the few bright spots. Upon paying my tab, I found I was charged double what I had expected. The elderly bartenders said I was lying about what I had drank. Security was called to hasten my exit, despite doing nothing except arguing the amount of my tab. Needless to say - my girlfriend, her friends, and I will never go back.

LOL just poking fun @ Diva...But Sapphire is a really cool down to the bones nitty gritty lounge..as far as watered down drinks in the years I have been going there I never had that problem and also it's a small lounge..When it gets crowded of course it's going to take a minute to get a drink. the restroom situation..Well once again it's a small lounge with limited space, just get in line and hold it till it's your turn. Private parties once again if you are cheap and trying to rent the space (That holds 75 people) Don't invite 200 damn people out and expect to have room. I just want to add it's a small space..IF folks don't wear DEO, what the hell you do you think the lounge will smell like! All I have to say the folks that wrote the bad reviews are just not used to going to a LES Bar/Lounges. I think Sapphire is a great hang out spot.

Horrible for parties. When you call to reserve for a party, the reception is great. But when you arrive Absolutely no service. Not even sure if or when the manager showed up. The back room smells like urine that has been covered up with cheap cleaning products. Main room smells stale and old. The drinks are really watered down. 1 Bathroom for men & 1 bathroom for women. EXTREMELY crowded dance floor. Rude Staff. Only good thing was the music.
