What a dissappointment, not the place it was last spring!

This place used to be great, kind of dingey, but in a cool way, and the vibe was always great. But then I heard from my friend's that some older guys were hanging out and hitting on the students there, both gay guys and girls like me who used to go there just to get away from this kind of thing. Well, we went there last night and it is not as cool as it used to be, and to top it off, I got some gum stuck to my jeans from the bench in one of the booths, which is a comment on the whole place. People doing uncool stuff like leaving their gum on the seat, and staff not cleaning that stuff up. Like I said, it was always dingey, but now it is just plain gross.
it is what it is

ok, so it's not the ritz or splash, or club 57, or g lounge or any place like that. However it is fun, especially when you dont feel like venturing downtown and they play some good music from my high school days (i'm 25) Its kinda fun when you hear songs that havent been played at a party since your sophomore class dance lol. Yes it may not be the cleanest or nicest place in terms of ambience, but the people are nice and the staff is friendly. If you want a somewhat low maintenance night and not an uber gay queeny chelsea/helsea kind of a night that's definately the place to go.
