Simply put--I left disappointed. My husband reserved a bottle table for my guests and me to celebrate my birthday, but my guests had difficulties getting in even when they told the body guards my name. The body guards and staff were unorganized and do not know what they are doing. Also, it was too packed (like sardines) and people were smoking cigarettes and weed. I thought bars/restaurants/lounges couldnt do that in NYC anymore. Lastly, there were repeated mini fights near the mens bathroom. The body guards didnt even curb the fights and why are they getting paid?!?! The dress code was not enforced--people were wearing sneakers, hats, hooded sweat shirts and non-designer jeans. I thought this place catered to classy and sexy people?!?! Overall, you should not take the chances of celebrating your event at Taj because you never know how things will unfold for the night. You just cannot afford for there to be a series of mistakes on their end. At least I couldnt. Besides you may not be able to get in to your own event!!!!

Best of New York: Fun & Nightlife
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
