My friends and I were at your bar recently, I have to admit this Night Club is the best one I have ever been to. Our host Steve was unbelievably professional and friendly. I will stop by everytime I visit NYC.
Cool Place - try booking your night via BoomSet

It is a cool venue - but the door can be strict sometimes. I found a new iPhone application, which actually helps you get in to venues like this. BoomSet is a cool app, and definitely eases your mind about reserving a table or getting in to a guestlist. I feel like a night can go south very easily if you have some issues getting in to the place. Try BoomSet- I highly recommend it. Beware of Pickpockets!
By azadi10 on 3/14/2011
I just discovered gay Sundays at Griffin last night. I was told by people who had been there that it's very difficult to get into so arrive early or be willing to fork out for bottle service. Fortunately, my friend and I got there early enough (in time for open bar) and were able to get in with little difficulty. (They did ask us who we were with and we just threw out a name and they let us in. I doubt this would have worked even 1/2 an hour later.) It was already filling up when we got there - probably b/c of the free drink hour. We started getting our drink on as the place got more and more crowded. Turned out to be a very fun night. Everyone was happy and dancing and in a great mood. I was having a blast until it was nearly time for me to leave (I had an early morning flight). As I reached into my pockets to pull out my coatcheck receipt, I realized there was no wallet! I know I had it b/c I had just settled up at the bar ($30 min for credit cards). Someone had actually reached into my front pocket and taken it!!! I was drunk enough not to care and have already taken care of most everything that was stolen. But it just goes to show that pickpockets still exist in NYC even at the poshest establishments. BTW, drinks are outrageous. We had well drinks all night b/c a brand drink would have cost at least $16. My advice: go early, drink lots for free, then dance your drunkenness away all night.
Some good Advice.

Ive been to this venue plenty of times and my friends run the parties there on certain nights of the week. This place can be good but really depends on the crowd. I definitely would not reccomend this place on certain nights of the week. If you're thinking of going here feel free to text me and ill let you know if it will be good on that specific night. 479-301-0606. I can help you get on the guestlist here and at many other different venues. I can also recommend which clubs are good for getting bottle service/table reservation.
Scam of a night club - Reservations not honored. Do not come here!
By Chaconne on 11/14/2010
Makes me disgusted to even think and write about this place. Made a reservation on a Saturday night for out-of-town friends. Was told that we need to buy 2 bottles, starting at $400 each. Fine, a pricey night, but just wanted to make sure we have a place for a group. Got there at the reserved time with the pre-specified number of people and was told by the asshole bouncer that my previously reserved table is now $2000!!, despite what reservations had told me. The cost itself is crazy, but the fact that they retraded the reservation last minute is unbelievable! A service establishment that does not honor reservations is unprofessional at its best and deserves to be put out of business. Imagine that you were planning a birthday or an event and this happened to you at the door of your night out. Just imagine and you will be as disgusted as I am. Griffin touts to be "sophisticated", provide "impeccable service" and "table reservations recommended". Do not be fooled by this, the people there are the exact opposite. We work hard enough in this economy to make money that should be spent at establishments that actually deserves to be paid for their service. Save yourself the guaranteed pain and go somewhere else to have fun.
