I love whiskey and I am torn to visit here or the Gibson often. The cocktails are excellent, making it less painful for my girlfriend as I guzzle my favorite bourbon. I have found that the bartenders are helpful have introduced me to many new and fine whiskeys as well.

a rich experience without the pretension

I was pleasantly surprised by how pretty this place was, but also how unpretentious. The bartenders were very knowledgeable and friendly, and the cocktails they prepared were delicious (and strong, which is always a bonus in my book!). The food was yummy, though I only tried the appetizers and can't speak for much else. For many years I used to live a couple of blocks away, but this place didn't exist back then and, anyway, I would have been underage. Still, I wish this place was within a stone's throw of where I now live... I've been here twice or thrice, and I plan on visiting more regularly this summer. I recommend this place highly.
