WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE

I would give a zero star if I can. The WORST EXPERIENCE at a restaurant in my entire life. My boyfriend was going to order a pork dish and asked how big the portion was to server and he suggested ordering a hanger steak instead telling him it’s a bigger portion. Once we got the steak, it was three tiny pieces of meat 1/4 of my hand size (I am 5”2 with 90 pounds so I have a small hand). My boyfriend felt deceived by the server and politely returned the dish back to the kitchen since he didn’t want to pay $22 for a low quality, tiny pieces of hanger steak. The chef came out and started yelling at us, saying it costed him $23 to make one. He kept on yelling “how dare you, who do you think you are.” We we’re extremely shocked and upset by the chef and I asked my dish to be wrapped. The server came back with just the plastic container without any bag. When I asked for a bag, the server said “we don’t give those out.” What kind of restaurant doesn’t carry any bags for its customers? Not only did they fail to apologize for their rude behavior, they continued to treat us with extreme unprofessionalism. The drinks we ordered were HORRIBLE as well. I’ve never experienced such rude customer service for anywhere and I’ve lived here for over 6 years. I hope the restaurant goes out of business ASAP. Thanks for ruining our otherwise lovely Saturday night.

Tiny gem in the far West Village

Very friendly, knowledgeable and patient wait staff (albeit on a relatively quiet night). Only about six tables and 4 seats at the bar, so don't bring a crowd, but great for a pre-dinner or post-dinner drink with a friend or date. Really unique/diverse wine selection.

  • If it's helpful to compare one place to another, go for it.
  • Come up with clever, funny, pithy subject lines, and write in the first person.
  • Don't forget to read the user rating guidelines and rules.
