I tried to plan a private party at this space based on good reviews I read. At first, it went very well. Mitch the event planner was responsive and helpful. After 5 or 6 emails, we got through all of the details and he told me all I had to do was sign a credit card authorization with the GM. Since the event was coming up soon, I went ahead and sent the evite. The GM then informed me that they had a recent change in policy and my Thursday night event had to start at 6pm and could only last 3 hours (they double book each night). Since all of my guests work, a start that early was a nonstarter. When I tried to negotiate a resolution, they both simply stopped responding. Incredibly unreasonable and unprofessional.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
