This place is the best! They play great hip hop, alternative, 80's, 90's, fun dancing and great drinks! Great for parties!

This bar has all the makings of a wonderful place; however, the management is not the greatest-by far and large. I want this bar to be great; that would be my reason for making the mistake for coming back. It's just like a hot stove, I know I should't put my hand on it, yet I do, from time to time. I would honestly warn people I know.

Whoever wrote the review for NY Metro did not go to the same Vig Bar that i know because it is the most entertaining and fun place to be in the city. Yeah it gets crowded, but the staff makes up for it and they see to it that everyone is enjoying themselves. it's a great place to party with your pals, take a date to, or both. the vig bar is amazing

This place is packed with 20 year olds, which is not at all a bad thing. Better yet i sense more than a few of them are looking not to go home alone. And they go to Vig alone. I have only been once, but trust me, if you're looking for ass, this is no bad place. The reviewer pegs with the Prince Marvin Gay thing, but what's even more challenging is Laura Branigan to AC/DC, and then 20-30 second mixes the guy might do, for any length of time. If you have anything other than Laphroaig or candy on your mind, I'd avoid it. That being said, I am going back tonight.

Best of New York: Fun & Nightlife
Cocktails at the movies, a Monday-night bacchanal, and a great rookie-rap show.
