Try the Tortellini Primavera

But leave some for me. The food is excellent. The crowd going later into the night on Fridays and Saturdays is a little annoying. I strongly suggest going in the early evening before it gets crowded with college kids. Tell David the Bartender that Amy says hi and OIL!

Worth the trip

I've always loved the Village Lantern, in fact, I've never been disappointed.Their nights are always a mystery. One night a funky trio with 2for1 martini's, the next night a comedy show, maybe an acoustic singer or DJ. I can't figure them out, but thats their beauty. One thing is always consistent, their attentive & friendly staff, their delicious Italian food, diverse crowd, & decent drink prices. They always have some sort of drink special when you're having a bad week. I've been going to this place for years, and will continue to do so until they change. I hope that day never comes.

A Great Time

The Village Lantern is a great place for a date. The food was excellent and the dinner music was upbeat and not boring like most places. The drinks weren't watered down and the seats were quite comfortable. Saturday night in the lounge was a terrific band named Bluu. They played some of thier own music and some cover songs as well. If your in the neighborhood I would suggest popping your head in and staying awhile.
