For the sozzled salaryman there is no better place in Midtown. Just be careful that the generous couches don't swallow you up. The drinks aren't cheap, but I have always been served promptly by the black clad temptresses behind the bar. But don't let the bargirls fool you with their subliminal sensual and steely gaze, they are there to do a job and don't take invitations back to your bachelor pad (at least in my case) well at all. Even if you do want to show them your smoking jacket collection. With all of the hotels nearby, you are sure to meet people on business from all of the exotic corners of the globe, including Georgia and Texas. On most nights, I would say the boys outnumber the gals 2 to 1. Gregory Tenenbaum
