a little gem
By nycnewbieandfoodie on 5/21/2012
Reviews from last year still hold true. Went here for drinks after work with a couple of friends hoping to avoid the Murray Hill collegiate bar scene. The atmosphere was relaxed, intimate, and friendly without being pretentious. The crostini we ordered were delicious, and the bottles of wine we ordered were very reasonably priced. Great selection of beers too. Loved their outdoor space in the back and appreciated that we never felt pressured to hurry up or leave at any point even though we weren't ordering food/drink continuously. Perfect spot to have a conversation with friends over a bottle of wine and order food as you please--did not disappoint.

Went there last night for dinner and wine. Had a wonderful time, food was amazing and the servers were knowledgeable about the food and wine. We sat outside and I got bit by a mosquito a few times, when I mentioned this to the owner, Volkan, when came to check on us, he went out and bought some bug repellent!! Soo sweet and nice and for sure going back!!!
One of my favorite neighborhood spots!

My husband and I have been to Wine 30 no less than 10 times each. I even went twice in one night once (long story)... We've brought many of our friends and even work colleagues. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. You can go for a full meal or just for a glass of wine and an antipasto. The bruschette are to die for with my favorites being the tomato, basil, mozzarella and honey, the caramelized onions and cheese, and the beet greens and sausage. The owner is such a sweetheart and treats his loyal customers so well. Looking forward to sitting out in the back yard garden that will be opening this Spring!
great small restaurant!

Very accommodating staff. Delicious appetizers and entrees and the menu really fit my tastes. Clean and pretty healthy dishes with fresh ingredients, cheeses, salads, meat, fish. Lots of vegetarian options. Ambiance of the restaurant was nice because it is on the smaller side, very intimate, good lighting, not too loud. Most of the customers were 20s-30s. I liked the glass of wine I had. Overall, highly recommended.
What a gem!

I have been to this place for several times now for lunch and dinner and the overall experience gets better with each visit. Wine and beer list is really great and well priced. The food is also really delicious. My favorites are the cheese plates, humus dip and the beef sliders. They also have nice salads. Aside from the food and the wine, owner/bartender Volkan’s great attitude adds a lot to the cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended!
