Incredible Experience

Yes, I would go back!

I had my first cut with Daniel last week. I decided to go to 2b based on the reviews off of this site and I must say I was not disappointed. I told Daniel to do what he thought would look best on me and he went above and beyond my expectations. I was very nervous to make the trip into Manhattan and thought I would feel uncomfortable, but they were so welcoming and made me feel relaxed. My hair looks awesome and it is so easy for me to style myself. I would highly recommend 2b to anyone. I am looking forward to my next cut.

Amazing Color Correction, Zhauna is he Best

Yes, I would go back!

I had the best experience at 2B. Not only was the salon like being in the comfort of your own home, the professionalism and expertise was amazing. After countless attempts at trying to get my hair fixed, I finally found 2B. Zhauna fixed my hair color in one try and I must say it looks awesome. I literally walked in the salon embarrassed to take off my hat. I was convinced that what appeared to be a dried up over processed mop on my head, was destined for failure. I thought I would literally have to shave it all off . But, not the case thanks to Zhauna. I walked out with beautiful healthy hair. In fact, as the woman who doesn't like to look at herself in the mirror, I must say I couldn't stop checking myself out.

Yes, I would go back!

Daniel is amazingly talented. Truly. My wife and I moved away from NYC a few years ago, but we still schedule our trips back to New York around Daniel's schedule. In fact, I just planned a trip for this summer (very excited). As great as New York is, it just wouldn't be a completely satisfying visit without a trip to 2B. Daniel is great for both men and women. I wish I could see him every six weeks! We talk about moving back to NYC a lot, and Daniel would certainly make our list of top 10 reasons to do so.

Daniel is funny, smart and extremely talented - if you're looking for a no-hype, full-service relaxing experience look no further. His secret hair hideaway is impeccably decorated, intimate, and you'll have Daniel's full attention and will leave with a to-die-for cut and style. Personally, and I actually work in the professional hair care biz, I'd been going to some of the top stylists in town for years, due to my job, and it continued to shock me how many of them simply didn't listen; they'd continue to give me the same bob that looked awful from the profile side and that didn't work with my "wavier toward the bottom" curse. Daniel was the first in some time to understand how to craft my hair to do exactly what I wanted. He's amazing!

I've been going to 2B for color and cut for more than 2 years, and my hair has never looked better! Both Daniel and Zhauna are fabulous, and the space (which is also an art gallery) has a lovely, intimate feel to it -- sophisticated yet relaxed. I've tried a number of the major salons -- John Barrett, Frederick Fekkai, etc. -- and 2B does a better job and offers a far more pleasant and personal atmosphere. I can't recommend it more highly!

I've been going to Salon 2B for almost five years now and can't imagine going anywhere else. Daniel not only always gives me an amazing cut and color, but also provides an utterly comfortable, incredibly relaxing atmosphere in his salon - complete with great music, great conversation, and just an all-around great vibe. (I'm someone who had never liked going to get my hair cut . . . until 2B.) Daniel is extremely talented and is a wonderful person - all making Salon 2B an outstanding place . . . I can't recommend it highly enough!

Daniel is the best! I have been a customer since 2004 when he repaired my hair from the worst color job ever. My hair has had the best color ever since. I get compliments all the time. It's amazing how good you feel when you know your hair looks awesome. Daniel is super thorough, you won't believe how perfect your highlights turn out. While he is know as an expert colorist, he is an excellent hair cutter. Since I've known him, I've had everything from a bob to long, layered hair. He expertly knows how to make your type of hair look best. He also cuts my daughter's very curly hair and it looks great.

Daniel is amazing!!! I've never gotten so many compliments on my color. I used to be a red-head for many years and now I look back on the pictures, especially the ones where the color has faded, and I can't help thinking, What was I thinking???? Daniel suggested a color that's much closer to my natural color (with still a hint of red in it) and it just opens up my face and complements my complexion so much better. Also, the dye that he uses has no ammonia in it so it's much better for my hair. I'm really pleased with the results!!!

I've been with Daniel and Salon 2B for over a year now. Making the jump is always nerve-wracking, and I liked my previous stylist. But I did not know what I was missing until I went with Daniel. He really does understand hair as a function of personality and style. I often think he knows what I want better than I do myself. Plus, his cuts grow out great. You won't be sorry. He's the best.

Yes, I would go back!

I love this place because it made me like getting my hair cut again. I never could find a salon that gave me a cut I liked or could deal with. Daniel takes the time to figure out who you are and what your style is, and then cuts your hair like a magician. I live in Vermont now and come back to 2b to get my hair cut - it's the only place I'll go.
