Absolutely wonderful place!

I have been going to Daniel for six years now...He has done my hair for literally every occassion including my wedding. And even though I now live in Los Angeles, I come back to NYC enough, that I continue to have him do my hair cut and color. The location is so welcoming and it's very nice to catch up and have a glass of wine or a cosmo. Daniel not only does an outstanding job on hair, he makes you feel completely at home! VERY worth it!!!!

I've trusted in Daniel for over 7 years now to make my hair look amazing, always. He is top-notch talent and I trust him with a variety of looks and colors I have tried through the years. Aside from making my hair look killer always, Daniel is one of the most friendly people I know in this city. He is always warm and inviting and seems to bring a smile to my face every time I walk in his place. His salon is clean, open and soothing, and he always has great art hanging on the walls and tea, coffee, specialty cocktails or wine for his clients. Going to his salon feels like going to a friend's home and just kicking back and relaxing. If you are looking for a new stylist - for a cut OR color - you must try 2b. Daniel is a special gift and I am so glad I found him.
Salon 2b has it all.

I have been getting my hair cut by Daniel for over five years and cannot say enough good things about him. I followed him from the salon where I met him, to one other salon then, happily, to his own salon at 2b. Not only is Daniel an amazing stylist and colorist, but he is a warm and interesting person and Salon 2b is a wonderful space. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, there is always delicious tea available, and there is beautiful art on the wall. I would keep going back to him just for the great hair cut, but when you add in good conversation and drinks, it really is the perfect experience.
Love, love, love this place

I always look forward to a hair cut with Daniel. He's charming and funny and gives the best hair cuts in the city. His salon is laid-back and friendly and makes you feel at home. I'd follow him anywhere.

Being new to the city I was terrified when I needed a hair cut. I had already heard the horror stories. My worries were completely thrown out when I walked in the front door at 2b. I felt like I was at a friends house for drinks. Time was taken to make sure that I received the right hairstyle for me. I never felt rushed. My thick curly hair was tamed and gorgeous when I left. I felt like a new women. I will definitely go back.
You will never visit another salon again...

Walking into 2b feels like you stopped by a close friend's fantastic apartment - warmly greeted by the Rechelbacher's dog, you drop off your coat and sit down with the perfect cosmo, take in the gorgeous artwork that surrounds you, and just enjoy the personalized attention of the staff. All this before you even experience Daniels stunning work! He defines expert and truly possesses a gift that most stylists lack. He took my overbleached, grown-out straggle and turned it into a chic, edgy cut that falls perfectly no matter what. The shades of buttery blonde look fabulously natural and have so much dimension. To top everything off, when I went home and tried to recreate the blowout but could not quite get it, Daniel insisted I come in for him to show me once again - and seemed genuinely happy to do so. This incredible experience is worth every penny and no one but Daniel will be touching my hair any time soon!
