Acupuncture is really great
By missyelliot on 12/20/2012
I found Iris in New York magazine's on line editorial. I'm all better now after 4 easy treatments. I had no range of motion in my neck and with Iris's fabulous touch, I can actually look to my left. Iris is also extremely pleasant and attentive, this made my experience at her office really great.

The team at acupuncture remedies works. I see both Iris and Kim when in need; both providing excellent care. The atmosphere is great. I fall asleep each time. Never thought needles could be so relaxing.

The editorial stands correct, it is in fact "prickly magic". I'm no newcomer to acupuncture and I needed someone in a pinch while on one of my business trips to New York. My neck and shoulders were completely out of whack. Iris approached me with great care, squeezing me in to see her so that I wouldn't have to wait a day. Thank you again Iris for all of your help.

I noticed almost immediate results after beginning treatment with Iris for IBS related symptoms. When I first began seeing Iris I was already managing many of my symptoms through diet. Despite this success I felt I had reached a plateau in my healing. Acupuncture proved to be exactly what I needed to continue to move towards an even higher level of health. Thank you Iris!

I so much appreciate Iris and her help. I was in severe pain and couldn't move my neck. I felt much better after the first session but the second session is what made all the difference. I found her to be very sweet and caring. I also liked that she followed up with me to see how I was feeling. I would definitely recommend her.

I found Iris through a Gilt promotion and couldn't be more pleased. I am typically very skeptical and coming from a family of MDs probably doesn't help. My reason for trying acupuncture was for fertility reasons. (Gilt promotion was very timely) I wasn't able to get pregnant on my own, and after 3 failed IUIs, I decided to give acupuncture a try. So today, I'm 6 weeks along. Acupuncture treament in conjuction with my 4th IUI seemed to do the trick. Today I'm still coming to see Iris, but now for nausea and fatigue. I still can't wrap my head around all of it, so I try not to think about it too much. All I know is that I feel great afterwards and that's all that matters.

I'm by nature a cautious person so when I finally came around to trying acupuncture, it was quite the ordeal for me. I was 'happily surprised' (as noted in my review title) by Iris's ability to ease my nerves. My reason for coming is for my anxiety/stress. She didn't seem at all annoyed by my questions (I had a lot of them). Iris treats me on a regular basis now. I never imagined I'd be one of those people, but here I am. I really look forward to my visits.

For anyone suffering from arthritis, groin injury, constant tension in certain areas of the body etc... the list goes on... give acupuncture a try! It really works! More importantly, I felt much better after the first visit! Iris has successfully treated me for three different ailments. Her treatments provided pain relief and promoted flexibility. I found Iris to be personable, professional, and patient. I felt extremely well cared for, and success is the best judge. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical when I first heard about acupuncture as a possible remedy for pain alleviation. However, I am now a firm believer in its powerful effects. Iris is an effective acupuncturist. The inflammation In my knees, wrists, and fingers has been reduced and I now have an increase range of movement.

I found Iris through a sale promotion on Gilt. I had never tried acupuncture before but had heard great things. I have been dealing with spasms in my lower back on- and-off for years and thought "What have I got to lose?". After two acupuncture sessions, I felt unbelievable better. Iris had told me that it may take a few weeks to see much improvement so I wasn't expecting to feel that much better so quickly. Thanks Iris. I'm so glad I found you.

I scheduled with Iris an acupuncture appt, heard it was good for relaxation. A few days later I was diagnosed with cancer. I called to cancel, thinking I needed to focus my energy on my illness. Iris convinced me otherwise. She said that acupuncture is helpful in boosting the immunity and treating my side effects (fatigue, headaches, etc.) I now look forward to my weekly visits with Iris. She's warm and caring, the key ingredients to any professional.
