Janet Rufin's Parlor is now located at - 77 Irving Place @ 19th St. 2nd Floor NY, NY 10003 We are now just four (very short) blocks east on Irving Place. Our phone number, email and website have not changed. We look forward to seeing you in our new home! Thank you.

Yes, I would go back!

Janet is a really great at what she does. My wife has been struggling with her hair style and her hair color for years, until she found Janet. Now we are both happy, my wife because she now has ended her search for the perfect color/cut and me for.... well you know, when your wife is happy, life is good!!! Thanks Janet!!!!!

What a great salon. I have to say, I really had a great experience here. Right out of the gate, they got my highlights right and fixed some major problems with a previous bad cut (a different salon). I highly reccomend this place. Hip, but low key.

I heard about Janet Rufin's Parlor from a friend after I had a hair coloring mishap, which they specialize in, and I can not thank her enough for it. Everything from the staff to the atmosphere is way above average, one of my favorite parts was the cozy outdoor space in the back of the salon. I honestly thought that nothing could be done to save my hair and I left the salon with my hair looking better and healthier than it has ever been! There is no way I would go anywhere else now. They also have an amazing selection of lotions and hair care products that I have never found anywhere else.

Yes, I would go back!

I found this salon about 6 months ago. My old stylist left me in a learch and i was in search of a new place. I needed a real color expert - not someone who thinks they know color. To investigate, I first booked a blow out to see how they did and talk about the colorists. I was thrilled with what I found. They are all great with cut and color. The best part - wait for it - they are totally affordable! Like half the cost of the uptown salons! I highly reccomend this salon!
