have fallen in love
By ryefitz25 on 9/8/2010
i finally checked out kula after a friend recommended the place to me many times. i have not only fallen in love with the stuido but am COMPLETELY addicted. the classes here are challenging, fun and liberating and the instructors could not be any nicer, especially to someone like me who is just not that good. the yoga studio itself is nothing fancy, but i personally think it adds to the experience. if you are looking for a really great place to improve your practice, this is the spot, no bells and whistles, just great yoga
Best Yoga studio in the city.

I tried many different studio in the city. Kula yoga is the most amazing place ever. The Instructors are great( all of them). Atmosphere is amazing and energy too. Can't wish for a better place.
Wonderful teachers and energy; filthy, unsanitary premises

Though the teachers here are amazing and the practice is very satisfying, the condition of their studios is appalling at best. This is literally the dirtiest, smelliest yoga studio I have ever seen. They have one bathroom and it's in the back of a studio so you have to walk through everyone else to use it. Barefoot. I just wish they'd renovate or at least try to make the place look presentable.
The heart of the heart

The best teachers know that yoga is a spiritual practice first...that being said, they will still be upside down in a second--while you adjust yourself accordingly. Very non-judgemental, very sweet and skilled teachers. The most integrity of any yoga studio I've been to. Too bad some of the counter people are a little snotty; I'm glad I got past her to enjoy the sweet center!
