Here I am, a year later, and I feel honored to once again have the opportunity of submit ting a review of Ajune Spa, for the benefit of all new or seasoned spa connoisseurs (specifically in praise of one exceptional person in this field)! I can't help but sing the praises of Licensed Esthetician, Jordana Mattioli. She is an artist with a phenomenal ability to make the canvas of your face glow. She holds great expertise regarding skin, and always has the most lucrative advice to offer with superb solutions. Whether you desire great looking skin or want to feel pampered, Jordana is the one to go to. She is extremely professional, and comes with a plethora of knowledge regarding all types of skin issues. Besides her expertise and phenomenal results, one of the top reasons that I come back for more is her caring and tender personality, and the fact that her facials, her gentle face, neck and shoulder massage, and her treatments always leave me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Kudos, Jordana, and thank you, Ajune, for hiring such capable and noteworthy staff!
I Highly Recommend Jordana M- Beauty Aesthetician at Ajune
By BellezzaCaotica on 2/1/2007
As an avid facial and spa connoisseur, I have visited countless NYC spas, most of them on the top ten list. But I believe I have finally found an aesthetician who is a total gem! She made the experience a delight. My facial and brow appointment at Ajune Spa was divine. And I attribute the success of this experience to Jordana. She was so attentive to what I wanted. Her listening skills made all the difference, especially because I am very particular. She gave excellent, well thought out advice, and was a very kind and gracious host. She made my eyebrows look gorgeous, exactly how I wanted them. And she checked with me every inch of the way, so that I would be perfectly happy with them. She had a great eye for contouring and what looks good on different people. And then, the piece de resistance: She did a phenomenal job during the facial and extraction process. She was very detailed and dedicated to understanding my skin's needs. On top of that, she stayed with me through the entire facial, giving me the most awesome scalp, neck and shoulder massage. My Skin is GLOWING! Highly Recommended!

Very Impressive. I would normally not go uptown for services, but i had a gift for a facial and a manicure. I hope all the facialists are as wonderful as mine. My treatment room was large, comfy, sterile and clean; and my facialist gave me a thorough consultation before we got started; and the microdermabrasion facial was the best ive had..felt like i was being pampered but at the same time had a intensive treatment. The manicure with Zaza was wonderful also- lots of fun stuff to buy while hanging around to dry. Only negative was there was a guy in the lounge in a robe that was waay to small..otherwise ajune was amazing.
A very good facial

Ajune, though over-priced, is a wonderful place to get a ginger massage or Astara treatment facial. Try to go on a Tuesday when they over a discount on your second treatment.
