Lots of talent & one genius

I started with Anthony and then shifted to Tina when Anthony was on leave. Anthony was great. Tina, for my money, is a genius and a very non-assuming one. She's given me the best haircuts of my life. It usually takes a stylist a couple tries before they get my cut right. Tina got it right on the first try. And every haircut since has gotten better, way beyond my expectations. She's gracious, patient, creative, encourages you to challenge her, and she's a friend. You can't ask for more than that! Whether I ask for "Hitler Youth" or "General Petraeus", she nails it every time. But now I just say short, because her styling sense is so good.

Really Great Hair! Super Friendly! Reasonable Price!

I just starting working in the area and needed a quick hair cut. Tina did a fantastic job with my layered haircut and I walked out really happy. I loved the overall friendliness of the salon and they are pet friendly... It was less than $100, so my pocketbook was happy too!

I am a loyal fan of Anthony Gianzero and have been for 7 years now. Staff are wonderfully friendly, creating a comfortable atmosphere that is akin to your friend or neighbor's living room (minus the sofa and television). Even more important, the calibre of stylists is very high and I have always loved my haircuts. Unpretentious yet sophisticated, high quality, friendly and affordable. You really cannot ask for anything more.

I read about Anthony Gianzero here and all rings true. I have challenging hair to cut and it's all about the shape. He nailed it. AND he's a really cool guy. Highly recommend.

My longest time stylist, I started with Anthony when he was at a small time salon. But of course since he's so GOOD, he moved on to work out of his apartment then at a couple of fancy salons, and I followed him all the way! I am so happy for Anthony and his well deserved success. His cuts are SO cool and hip, but never over-the-top. He can cut my hair so I don't even have to style it. He rocks my world (and his good looks don't hurt either).

Amazing...

I randomly looked up this salon and decided to give it a try. First great thing: I called and was able to get a same-day appointment with Anthony. Second great thing: Anthony cuts FAST, but he is AMAZING. I walked out loving my new hair and the magic happened in under 50 minutes. He cuts smart and he cuts fun. Third great thing: You can drink wine while you get your hair done. Fourth great thing: the prices are so reasonable, my cut was less than $100. Fifth great thing: Everyone (especially Anthony) was relaxed, friendly and not snobby at all. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be going back for all my future haircuts! (One note: They take credit cards, but you cant add a tip to a card.)

Stop looking for NY's best salon....

I've been to every salon in NYC (and LA) and found home and haven at this oasis. This is a place to get the best cut and color (see Anthony or any of his well-selected, small crew if he's not available) - and make friends in the meantime. Enjoy a coffee or glass or wine and the celebs who pretend they're not -- and the best hair job you've ever had. The vibe makes it but the services, for far less than the Madison Ave prices - start it rollin.
