Wonderful - a unique experience
By Josesine on 9/25/2011
Arte is a very chic salon with a wonderful private atmosphere which is rare for hair salons because you don't feel exposed.  I was warmly welcomed and asked to wait while I had a wellserved cappuccino.  I had a consult with Jemma about the color repair in my fine, relatively short hair damaged by salt and previous colorings. Jemma did a fantastic job making it look supra natural, controlling the coloring time of each part of the hair individually. After wards I had a gentle wash and massage followed by a conditioning pack. I finished with a light haircut, also by Jemma who really knew how to interprete my hair and give the haircut the personal style I wanted.  I was also taught how to treat my hair and how to style it. At no time, I felt rushed, left behind or stressed due to a very  professional team. The best coloring and haircut. I will definitely return and recommend Jemma and the salon very warmly.
Unbelievable - I'm never going anywhere else

Arte is amazing. Some salons give you a color book and you have to choose your hair color - not here. I had my highlights done by Amy this afternoon and she knew exactly what color I had in mind simply by me describing the look I had in mind (lots of small highlights all over - nothing too drastic but enough to brighten my hair). When they say "selective highlights," they mean selective. I have heaps of beautiful, blink and you'll miss them highlights. And not that I'm in favor of catcalling, but I had two older Wall Street types stop me on my way home to tell me I was beautiful. I'm a sucker for compliments, what can I say.
