I have never had a worse experience having my brows tweezed as I did at Eliza's Eyes. I was surprised to get an appointment with the ever popular Eliza herself and decided then and there that the ridiculous $100 fee would be worth it because of her reputation. Even before I made an appointment, I grew out my eyebrows so that she would have more of a canvas to work with. Not only was she rude and abrupt, but she only gave me 5 minutes of her time and plucked only a few stray hairs and told me to come back and she would do a better job the next time! Well, I guess the woman has a great PR company because nothing that I had heard about Eliza seemed to be true. I wish I had never gone to Eliza but that experience taught me a great lesson--just because something costs alot, doesn't mean it's any good. My advice to everyone is to save yourself $75 and head over to Robin Evans in Soho!

I spend a lot of money at Avon to go to Eliza's Eyes. So, naturally, I expect the best. At first I was disillusioned, but I had to go through 2 essociates until I found the one that fit me. Varvarra is the best! I probably shouldn't share it with others because her rate just might go higher, but boy is it worth it!!!! I love my brows. I don't think it's neccesary to pay $100 to see Eliza and from the rest of the comments here she sounds awful.

i have been going to eliza's eyes for about 2 years now. i am greek and italian and have extremely thick, dark brows which i am insanely anal about...an essociate does my waxing and i used to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the way they would come out but the last few times i've been there i havent been satisfied at all, in fact, i've been very disappointed...i pay $70 to get my brows done...i'm sorry but i expect perfection EVERY TIME!

I don't trust my brows to just anyone, that's why I went to Eliza's Eyes. I have been religiously "seeing" an essociate for over a year now and she has truly transformed my brows. I had severely over-plucked in my lifetime and the essociate offered advice and great solutions to get my brows into a classic shape again. I get at least 2 compliments a week about my brows! Thanks to Eliza's Eyes!

I traveled to New York for a vacation and I had heard about Avon and the brow experts there. I grew my brows out for 6 weeks and let me tell you I looked better when I walked in then when I walked out. The lady I had which was an e-sociate didn't say one word to me. I looked in the mirror at the end of the service and my brows were uneven all over. It was the worst experience. I refused to pay and I will never go back...save your money.

I left Eliza's Eyes at the Avon Salon with beautifully shaped brows and red, blistered, swollen skin. The aesthetician did nothing to sooth the surrounding area after the waxing, which seems a fairly elementary concept. But hey, the brows looked great after the skin healed!

I set up an appointment and waited 6 months and when I got there the assistants were rude, and Eliza was the worst. She insulted me, spent about 6 minutes working on my eyebrows, and insisted that I must buy her brow kit for around $100. When I paid, the woman had the nerve to ask if I wanted to donate any money to Eliza's daughter for some school thing! I would never go back!

What a nightmare! I can't believe I paid $100- (plus $65- for a cheap kit ) to be insulted, sworn at, and end up looking like a freak with my new "eyebrows". Eliza is unpleasant, and worst of all to her own staff. I did not appreciate being called fat or yelled out for not growing out my eyebrows long enough. Six months isn't long enough? Sadly, I was not sure why the fact that one of my eyebrows being naturally higher than the other caused her to call me further names. She not only choose the wrong shape, used the wrong eye color pencil for me...I was stupid enough to buy the kit that maybe was worth $20.00. I think the worst was when a beauty editor friend commented, at lunch, that I really needed to find an expert to shape my brows. Eliza has started to think she's a diva, rather than that she works on divas and the rest of us real world woman. Save your money. I found a threader who charges $15- and everyone thinks I look younger and sexier.

I went to Avon because I heard so much about the one and only Aliza...what a huge disappointment...first of all,I wasn't about to spend $100 for the 1st visit, and have a not so nice person to deal with. So, I decided that I would go to someone that was trained by Aliza, but didn't charge that crazy amount of money...All I have to say is oh my G-d! What a bunch of crap...Both eyebrows were uneven, and when I pointed it out, I was told that the eyebrows sometime just won't match...They had enough nerve to raise the price during the time frame that I was there only twice...I really can't believe that they are still in business...Another thing that was really shocking, was the fact that it smells like mold is growing in the spa...Very gross...What a big disappointment, and the attitude that you get after getting two uneven eyebrows and wax sticking to your $25 wacoal underwear...

Besides having to make appointments months in advance, I paid 50+ each time to get my eyebrows waxed by Eliza - the supposed eyebrow queen - she spends not more than 5 minutes doing them. One time she gave me different shaped eyebrows and when I went back she asked me who did such a teriible job on my brows? SHE DID for $50 - but what do you expect when she doesn't pay attention and only spends 5 minutes
