Rude service turned me off!

I don't mind if the manicurist doesn't want to talk to me, but when she yaps to her friend (who was doing my friend's nails at the time) at the top of her voice, and then seems unhappy with her tip after messing up three nails, I'll certainly never give them my business again!

Worst Pedicure

I went to Bloomie's for my first ever pedicure. During the entire time (which only lasted 10 to 15 minutes) my pedicurist kept trying to sell me extra services (a spa pedicure, an extra massagae, even a manicure). I got home to find the same dry spots and callouses I had before. And my feet are in pretty good condition to start with. What a waste.

If you are looking for an average manicure and pedicure this salon is fine. However, the service is poor, they hardly spend any time on your nails. I'd call it a fast food Mickey D's. The waxier's need a few tips themselves.

WORST WAXING EXPERIENCE

If you are looking for a decent manicure and pedicure I do suggest this salon. However, I went to the Bloomie's on 2nd Ave. in the lower east side twice for an eyebrow wax. Both experiences I had the same waxier, and she ripped the skin off of my eyebrows each time. She was rude and kept laughing about the situation. The workers tried to argue with me that my skin was just red and would return to its natural color within the hour. Well, if that was said to be true, I guess using 2 tubs of Neosporin, Vasiline and Vitamin E oil for over a month must have been a new beauty treatment I was experimenting with. The service is poor at this salon and they want your money out of your purse before you can pick out a nail polish.

DO NOT GO THERE !!!!

I went in for a permanent french treatment. All they did was paint an un-even white line going accross the tip (you could still see my natural nail tips) and put three layers of crazy glue. I told the lady she was doing it wrong and she had the nerve of arguing with me. The nails also had air bubbles and then to top it off, they had the nerve of telling me that I needed to give them a 15% tip (not optional). It's been three days and the crazy glue she put on has been chipping off. DO NOT GO THERE !!!

Great manicures, pedicures, and facials

I love Bloomie Nails and go to one of their locations for manicures, pedicures, waxing and facials. Stay away from the massages - nowhere near as good as a real spa. Everything else is great! Visit often.

Obsessive but true

admit it. I'm obsessed with my nails. One chip and i'm back for a polish change. I adhere to a strict regime of manicure every week and pedicures every other. Which might be why my gal-friends have just gifted me a month of mani’s (u guys are so awesome). I’ve got a pack of these LuxeNow gift cards – that I can use at any nail salon on their website – but I’ll stick to my fave…so happy am i! I've tried many places around the city for nails. This one is one of the best. It's my regular salon. Sometimes i'll cheat and go to another salon only to be grossly disappointed and back for them to fix what others have up. I'm slowly learning my lesson. The inside is small and clean. They do manicures, pedicures, waxing, massages, etc. All the girls are very nice, and gentle. Love it!
