The staff is extremely unhelpful. No one ever gets back to u and they don't even care about complaints. They have this arrogant "masseuse" who gives out trashy pictures of herself and loves expensive gifts. Wonder what is going on.

I've been at CityView for almost 2 years now and have nothing but great experiences to boast. The staff is extremely friendly. It's nice to walk in and have the front desk know my name and what's happening with my game. And the pro staff is the best in the city. Even the Manager at Central Park will tell you you're hard-pressed to find better. I highly recommend it. And if you have kids, look into their Junior Development Program, it's great.

I joined the club about two years ago and am more than happy with the service, the condition of the courts and the overall atmosphere of the club. The place is always spotless and being a neat freak, their level of cleanliness and maintenance is very much appreciated. I have referred my friends here (who have subsequently joined) and entertain for business on a regular occasion. The membership isn't cheap, but I like to think I'm getting my money's worth. Where else can I book a court whenever I want and arrive to the front desk staff (Virginia) cheering on my game? I've tried and this is the best I've found.

I joined this club about year ago, the service I was promised when I signed up with them was not there. I thought that going to the Cityview Racquet Club would be a daunting experience - especially as I was promised the world by their senior management. Not a bit. Staff members were not very welcoming and when I started to use the gym and Squash Courts they were not too happy to help. I didn't see many people working out or in the courts most of the time-Looking at the equipment they have very limited range. The club policies are extremely unfriendly. I PERSONALLY WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS.

At $140 a lesson, on top the $300 monthly membership charges and obscene initiation fee, you may wonder what an upscale joint like "City View Racquet Club" is doing in Long Island City. I had the misfortune of paying to find out -- and I'm still wondering. The staff, painfully obsequious when trying to pry the initiation fee out of you, seems to believe there's some hidden charm in being as snobby and unhelpful as possible. The clientele, consisting entirely of prissy UES housewives, are equally despisable . Do yourself a favor: save your money, your time, and exasperation and stay in Manhattan.
