Their reviews are a scam! They DESTROYED my hair!

agreed to a 2" trim of my straight, even hair and got an uneven mess with sections sticking out that the stylist didn't even cut. He butchered the style of my hair by also cutting the sides 4" higher than the rest of my hair and tried to cover up his mistake by randomly taking sections everywhere and chopping them 4" too short. It looks ridiculous. The worst are my bangs. The stylist left them uneven, uncut 1" on either side and so short that no one can fix them until they grow out. I had to bobby pin them in VIP sections of clubs in Vegas. The stylist repeatedly burned my scalp and damaged my hair but refused to turn down the hairdryer heat. The staff lied to me and screamed they wouldn't fix the problem or refund my money to pay someone to undo their mess. The positive reviews are a scam they wrote themselves to cover up the truth. This is the worst experience I've had in 12 years of NYC salon visits. They are con artists, not hair stylists.

A Waste of Time

I went for a wash and style. I should not have wasted the $45. I have a special occasion Saturday and I wanted to have a blowout--but the hairstylist tried to persuade me to have my haircut again, even though I just had it cut last week in a style I love. She didn't put any styling products in it when it was wet, didn't ask what I wanted or even for my input until the end, then tried to use hairspray to finish it. (My hair is delicate but wavy and frizzes easily--if I use hairspray, it turns into an afro. Especially in the summer). Whatever I ended up with is the worst blowout I've ever had. The top is flat and the bottom is a triangle. I look like a tired newscaster, and my hair feels like an old mattress. I tried to add volume at the roots with a comb, but I'll probably end up styling it myself tomorrow.
